Regina C. Ventura, of Bloomfield, passed away Monday, December 02, 2013. Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville before moving to Bloomfield 18 years ago. Regina retired from the County of Essex as a Registered Nurse. She was a graduate of Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing and Jersey City State College with a B.S.
The daughter of the late Josephine (Barneo) & Martin S. Ventura, she is survived by her sister Kathleen Mary Ventura. She was also the aunt of Andrew & Michael De Zaio and great-aunt of Matthew, Nicole, Lauren, Alison & Eric.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 9-10 a.m.
