The Reverend, Dr., Bishop Peter I. Bruno of the Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 12th, surrounded by his loving family. Through his legacy of leadership, he has fathered many churches as well as mentored many pastors into full-time ministry. He founded the Abundant Life Academy, a private Christian school for grades K3-12 with a student body of well over four hundred.

Guests will be received for a viewing on Friday, June 18th from 3:00-6:00 PM at the Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center (390 Washington Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110) in which he served for 51 loyal years. Everyone is invited back to the Celebration of Life church service on at 7:30 PM honoring the life of Bishop Bruno. There will be a private entombment on Saturday, June 19th reserved for the family. On Sunday morning, June 20th at 9:30 AM there will be a special Fathers Day Church Service honoring the Bishop.

Beloved Husband of Rose Marie Bruno (nee Butera), loving Father of Peter, Pam, Paul, Suzanne, Joyleen, Lou, Jillaine & Anthony. Proud Grandfather of Peter John, Ena, Taryn, Jason, DeAnna, Michael, Samantha, Brandon, Alexander, Genisis, Louie, Vincent, Amanda, Dominic, Salvatore, Jenna, Julia, Anthony and Jada. Great-Grandfather of Jordan, Franklyn, Emma and Vincent.
