Richard J. Mulligan (Richie Flowers), age 78 of Clifton, formerly of Bellville, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Madge (Creveling) & Francis Mulligan. Richard retired as a machinist from Bergen Machine & Tool Co. of Nutley. After retiring from Bergen Machine & Tool Co., Richie delivered flowers for “A Personal Touch” florist in Nutley. The beloved husband of the late Patricia (Mc Whirr) Mulligan, he is survived by his daughters, Jill Mulligan, Lisa Mulligan, and Renée DiMeo & her husband Anthony; his sisters, Dorothy Bosi and Nancy Nieuzytek; his grandchildren, Megan Girovasi, Adam Girovasi, Ashley Barone, and Tyler Barone; and his 3 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Robert Mulligan and his sister Diane Swank.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday 1-4pm.
Cremation will be private.
