Robert Alfano, 73, of Newark passed away on June 29, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ he resided there all his life. Robert was the son to Angelo and Antoinette (Romano) Alfano. He retired as a Senior Maintenance Repairman with the City of Newark Water and Sewerage after 40 years of service. Robert was an avid collector of vinyl records and DVD movies. Robert leaves behind his loving wife Beverly, M. (Simms) Alfano, a brother Frank and his wife Carol, was the uncle to Frank Alfano Jr., and his wife Tracy, Christina Albano and her husband David, and Jessica Alfano, and he was the great uncle to Frank Alfano III, Michael Alfano, Amelia Alfano, Maria Alfano, Antonetta Albano, Robert Albano, Gabrielle Albano, and Annabella Wall.

The funeral will be on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 9:00am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from St. Lucy’s Church, 7th Street, Newark, NJ at 10:00am

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, July 2, 2021, from 4-8pm.
