Corrections Officer
Robert D. Bell, of Northville, NY, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of Carol (Marrone) and the late Lawrence Bell, he lived in Nutley, North Caldwell and Wayne prior to moving to Northville 3 months ago. Robert retired from the Essex County Department of Corrections as a corrections officer.
He is also survived by his loving wife, Sharon Bell; 5 children, Ashley Amato, Robert “R.J.”, Christopher, Gretchen and Mitchell Bell; 3 grandchildren, Valentina, Sophia and Olivia; his sister, Sandra Slater and his brother, Larry Bell.
Visitors will be received for a memorial visitation at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
