Obituary for Robert C. Cavolo
Robert Charles Cavolo, 65, of Irvington, Beloved Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and Cousin, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at home. Born in Newark, he was the beloved son of Eleanor (Bohnenberger) Cavolo, brother of the late Lawrence M. Cavolo, and the nephew of the late aunts, Doris and Ruth Bohnenberger and June (Bohnenberger) Long.
Robert loved music- classic, folk, rock and jazz, reading and science fiction movies. He is survived by his sister Doreen Cavolo of Irvington, his three nieces- Kristen Cavolo Brennan and her husband Jim, Michelle and Melanie Cavolo, sister-in-law Diane Cavolo, and two great-nephews, JP and Bryan Brennan, all of Rhode Island. He is also survived by his uncle Charles Bohnenberger and his wife Maryann, the husband of his late aunt June, Anthony Long, and their respective children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Due to the current safety precautions, Robert will have a private cremation with a future memorial and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Community Food Bank of NJ or the Gary Sinese Foundation- R.I.S.E.
