Robert J. Hayducka, 69 of West Palm Beach, FL and formerly of Newark, passed away on Monday May 24, 2021. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late John and Claire Hayducka. Robert lived in Belleville before retiring to Florida 20 years ago. He enjoyed boating, yogi, and was an active runner. Robert (AKA) Duke loved spending his time with his family, cooking, dancing, and exercising. He loved to have fun and most of all, telling stories.

A beloved father and grandfather, Robert is survived by his son Robert Hayducka, Jr., his daughters, Dorothy Mendes and her husband, Jorge, Jennifer Hayducka, Lisa Bosques and her husband, Dimas and his grandchildren, Larry Clifton, Elijah Bosques, Samantha Bosques, Ernie Brodie, Devon Hayducka, Madison Cammarata and her husband, Shaun. He also leaves his brothers, Archie and Raymond Hayducka, his sisters, Margie Kachicki, Claire Ramos and Connie Tremmel. Robert was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Clifton.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday June 2 at 9 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Belleville at 10 am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
