Retired Benjamin Moore truck drive, Vietnam veteran

Robert Hutchinson, 76 of Belleville passed away on Thursday July 26, 2018. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late James and Cecelia (Reevie) Hutchinson. Mr. Hutchinson lived in Belleville most of his life and was a truck driver with Benjamin Moore Paints in Clifton before retiring. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, was a member of Stuart E. Edgar VFW Post 493 in Nutley, the Nutley Elks Lodge 1290 and was a life member of the Knights of Columbus in North Arlington. He is survived by his beloved wife, Andrea (Kost) Hutchinson, his children, Robert and Andrew Hutchinson, Coleen Kane and husband, Thomas and his grandchildren, Cori, Erin, Alyson and McKenna. He was predeceased by his brothers, James and Edward Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Nutley Elks Lodge Special Needs Children's Fund or The Veteran Committee.

Funeral Service Thursday at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley at 10 am.

Visiting will be on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
