Robert Thomas Mautone, 78 of Verona, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. Born and raised in Newark, he was the son of the late Libertore and Antoinette (Malanga) Mautone. Bobby was a self- employed automobile wholesaler before retiring and was previously the general manager at Brogan Cadillac-Oldsmobile in Clifton. He is survived by his loving children; daughter, Robin Harvey and her husband, Scott, son, Robert Mautone, Jr. and granddaughter, Mackenzie MacDermott. He also leaves his former wife, Virginia and was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Mautone.

Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday January 14 from 7-9 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in Newark on Friday at 10 am. Cremation will be private.
