Obituary for Robert J. Mc Dermott Sr.
Robert J. Mc Dermott Sr, 73, of Nutley passed away on Saturday October 23, 2021. Born in Glen Ridge, Robert was raised in Clifton, spent many years in Belleville and moved to Nutley 4 years ago.
Robert was the son of the late Frank and Marian (Fraill) Mc Dermott. Robert was a grounds man for the Nutley Board of Education before retiring.
He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia (Collins), his son Robert J. Jr, and his former daughter in law Tiffany his grandchildren Hailey and Brianna, his sister Nancy Sek and many nieces and nephews.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley on Thursday October 28th from 3-7pm.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11am at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Clifton, NJ
Cremation will be private
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org
would be appreciated.
