Obituary for Roberta Jean Palmer
Roberta Jean Palmer, 78 of Nutley, passed away on Thursday May 16, 2019 at her home. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Q. and Bette Davis. Roberta lived in Clifton before coming to Nutley 26 years ago and was a salesperson at Footers Shoes in Millburn before retiring. Predeceased by her son, William Fisher, she is survived by her husband, Howard E. Palmer, her son, Daniel Fisher and his wife, Rosa and her granddaughter, Kelsey Fisher.
A memorial gathering will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. in Nutley on Saturday May 25 from 10:00 am to 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
