Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather
Rocco Genovesi Sr., 73, of Monroe Township, passed away on April 26, 2022. Born in Newark, Rocco resided in Belleville and Milltown prior to moving to Monroe Township. He was a retired Supervising Greens Keeper with the Essex County Golf Course. Rocco is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Brunetti) Genovesi, his daughter Angela Genovesi, his son Rocco Genovesi, Jr., and his wife Rowena, and his grandsons Kenny, Luca, and Giovanni.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street Nutley, on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
The funeral will be on Saturday, April 30th at 9:00am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 7th Ave, Newark.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington.
