Obituary for Ronald J. Rodier
Ronald J. Rodier, 75, of Nutley, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020. Born in Newark, the son of the late Richter and Helen (Sulkowski) Rodier, Ronald retired as a Police Sergeant in Nutley after 30 years of service. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Roseann (Bruno) Rodier; his sons, Derek and Darrell; his daughter-in-law Maria (Testa) Rodier; a brother, Rick Rodier; 5 grandchildren, Alexandra, Cristina, Cassandra, Anthony, and Ava. Ronald will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
The funeral will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 8:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield at 9:30am.
Cremation will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 4-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123, would be preferred.
