Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Rosa Turano, 81, of Belleville, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Born in Coscenza, Italy, Rosa was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Bombina (Ritacco) DeGiacomo. She retired from the Produce Department for ShopRite in Nutley. The beloved wife of the late Pasquale Turano, Rosa is survived by her children Maria Chimento and her husband Angelo, Lina Walsh and her husband Perry, Bombina Turano, Salvatore Turano, Angelo Turano and his wife Karen, and Dominick Turano and his wife Allison, brothers Domenico and Giuseppi DeGiacomo, sisters Angelina DeGiacomo, Michelina DeGiacomo, Maria Turano and Vincenza Murrano, and eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday, February 26, 2024, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, February 25th from 2 – 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rosa's name to GIST Cancer Research Fund (www.gistinfo.org)
