Obituary for Rosa Rios (Villanueva)
Rosa Rios, 88 of Lincoln Park, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Born in Rincon, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Juan and Carmen Villanueva, she lived in Puerto Rico, Newark and Bloomfield prior to moving to Lincoln Park 4 years ago.
Rosa is survived by her sons, Pasquale and his wife,Ilsa Yvette and Hector and his wife, Daisi; 5 grandchildren, Dawn, Alexis, Tiffany, Robert and Erica and her great-grandchildren, Blake, Amber, Mea and Shane Jr. He was also the sister of Callin, Hector, Juan, Nelson, Rubin, Sixta, Anna, Migdalia, Ida, Tonita, Gloria, Eli and Tata.
The funeral will be Monday, February 4, 2019 at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in Newark at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
