Rose English of Little Falls passed away on October 1, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ she lived in Belleville until age 5 and grew up in Nutley. After getting married she moved to Livingston where she raised her family, and then to Little Falls, NJ. After building her career as a legal administrator at Kalb, Friedman, & Siegelbaum, she later retired from Morgan, Melhuish, Abrutya. She was the daughter to the late John Genitempo and Elizabeth Scarpelli. She is survived by her husband Edward M. English. She also leaves behind her daughter Lisbeth A. McGovern and her husband Joe, her sons James P. English and his wife Marion, and Edward M. English Jr and his wife Karen. She is also survived by her twin sister Marie Genitempo, and five grandchildren Julia, Michael, Madeline, Colin and Juliet.

Rose was famous for her homemade pizza and cheesecake, as well as her Halloween costumes, family vacations in LBI, rowdy times with her “Tupperware Friends”, and infectious laughter with her twin sister Marie and grandchildren. Rose will also be remembered for her unconditional support and adoration of her husband and children.

The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Holy Family RC Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30am.

The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 4-8pm.

The family has requested that masks be worn when indoors.
