Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Rose V. Miano, 90 of Nutley passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (Del Guercio) Palmieri, she lived in Newark and Bloomfield prior to moving to Nutley 56 years ago.
She retired from the Accounts Payable Department at Mandee’s Corporate office in Totowa after 25 years of service. Rose was also a long-time communicant at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Nutley.
The beloved wife of the late Peter Miano, she is survived by her son, John Miano; 4 grandchildren, Peter and Johnny Miano and Charles Dowdy and Thomas Moran and her 3 great grandchildren, Ally, Charlie and Lilly. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by 17 sisters and brothers.
The funeral will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Nutley at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be appreciated.
