Local business owner, devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother & great grandmother

Rosemary Cox, 90 of Nutley, passed away on Friday February 19, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Nero) Tarantino. Mrs. Cox was a lifelong resident of Nutley and the owner of Roseann’s Fashions in Nutley before retiring. She was also a devout parish member of St. Mary’s Church and member of the Rosary Altar Society. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Cox, she is survived by her loving children, Rosemary Muglia and husband, Richard, Michael Cox, Jr. and Thomas Cox and his partner, Steve Foote. She also leaves her grandchildren, Richard Michael Muglia and wife, Sin Yee, Jacqueline Jeffreys and husband, Nicholas and her great grandchildren, Alexander, Connor, Tyler and Juliana.

Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday February 23 from 9-10 am.

A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 am followed by burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
