Obituary for Rosemary A. Donahue (DePhillips)

Rosemary A. Donahue, 93 of Upper Montclair, passed away on Friday September 18, 2020 at her home. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine (Blois) DePhillips. Rosemary lived in Nutley most of her life and also had lived in Florida before coming to Montclair in 2003. Mrs. Donahue retired as Finance Administrator for the Time Warner Corp. in New York City and Florida before retiring in 1991 and had previously served as the Assistant to the President of American Express in New York City. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Home Economics from The College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station and was also a volunteer at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
Rosemary is survived by her loving daughters, Joanne Hayes and husband, George, Mary Quinlan and husband, Michael, Carole Small and husband, Rob, her grandchildren, George Hayes III and wife, Kaitlyn, Andrew Hayes and wife, Leah, Maggie Rose Williams and husband, Jacob, Matthew Quinlan and great grandson, Graham Hayes.
She was the dear sister of Dr. Henry DePhillips, Joan Clark and the late Carmel McLaughlin.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday September 24 at 9 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cassian Church in Montclair at 10 am. Cremation will be private. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.

Face coverings will be required, and visitors are asked to please observe social distancing practices.
