Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather
Salvatore F. Salamoni, age 79 of Belleville, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Marie (Donzelli) Cataldo and Frank Cataldo. He retired as a foreman for Roberts Generator Co., Elmwood Park, and was a former volunteer fireman in Nutley for Yanticaw Chemical Firehouse. Salvatore is survived by his loving children, Denise La Vista &her husband Gerald, Salvatore Jr. Salamoni & his wife Nadine, and Debra Salamoni & Jim Tencza; his brother, Amedeo (Butch) Salamoni; and his grandchild, Matthew Salamoni. He is predeceased by his wife Patricia (Rich) Salamoni.
The funeral will be Wednesday 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral mass will be 10:30am at Holy Family Church in Nutley.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday 4-8pm.
