Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather
Salvatore Benevenga of Nutley, passed away on July 5, 2023. Born in Palomonte Italy, he lived in Nutley since 1969. Salvatore was the son of the late Biagio and Angelina (Festa) Benevenga. Salvatore retired as a machinist & welder with Neil Supply, he also enjoyed gardening and soccer. Salvatore was predeceased by his loving wife, Domenica (Immediato) Benevenga, his son Biagio, his brother Vito, and his sisters Filomena Cupo and Dina Antico. He is survived by his daughter in law Donna Benevenga, his brother Tony, sister Geraldine Cupo, his grandchildren Kristen Baier and Danielle Hippe, and his great grandchildren Dylan, Mackenzie, Jaclyn, and Derek.
The Funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Street, Nutley, at 9:30am July 8, 2023.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley, NJ at 10:30am.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday July 7, 2023, from 4 – 8pm.
