Samuel R. Tunis, 83 of Newark, passed away Thursday September 24, 2020. Born in Newark, Samuel was the son of the late Ralph and Catherine (Lattanzio) Tunis. He retired as a postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service of Newark.
The beloved husband of the late Trinidad Tunis, Samuel is survived by his brothers, Charles Tunis and James Tunis, and many loving nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley on Monday September 28th at 11am.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday September 27th from 3-5pm.
Please keep in mind of all social distancing rules. In order to enter the premises, you must have and wear a mask. Only 55 people are allowed within the premises at any given time, so please be mindful of your time spent paying your respects so that others will be able to do so as well.
