Scott A. Beder, 59 of Nutley, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Born in Groton, Connecticut to Richard Alden and Shirly Elizabeth (File) Bender, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to Nutley 11 years ago. He worked as a stagehand at Local One Stagehand in New York City.
The beloved husband of Ekaterini Bender, he is survived by his children Scott, Jr., Michele and Robert Bender, his brothers Richard Alden Bender, Jr. and Keith Eric Bender, his sister Lori-Ann Savino and his grandchildren Elli, Able and Noa. He was predeceased by his parents.
The cremation will be held privately.
