Obituary for Sharon Marie Bernadette Mulligan (Walsh)
Sharon Marie Bernadette Mulligan, aged 74, passed away on September 3rd, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She was born March 20, 1948, in Newark, NJ, to parents John and Eleanor (Schoen) Walsh. Sharon was a 1965 graduate of Vailsburg High School. She was a bookkeeper with the Township of Nutley.
Sharon loved spending time outdoors with her family, listening to oldies, and never missed a St. Patrick's Day parade.
She was predeceased by her husband James Mulligan, and her son John. She is survived by her sisters, Carol Bauer and Jacqueline Kennedy; granddaughter Megan Helsel and her partner, Rob Jasonek; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and others who Sharon touched are invited to a mass of Christian burial on Saturday, September 24th at 10:30AM. The service will take place at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place, Nutley.
Cremation will be private.
