Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother
Stanley G. Novak, 66, of Nutley, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Stanley was the son of the late Stanley Novak and Florence (Bruno) Pascucci. He was a Shop Foreman for Mendon Truck Leasing, Newark from which he recently retired. For the past 40 years, Stanley was a member of the Nutley Volunteer Fire Department where he was secretary and honorary assistant chief. Stanley was past Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus, Nutley # 2346. He was former President and current Vice President of NJ Chapter #19 Red Knights Motorcycle Club. Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl (Welch) Novak, his children Kimberly Almeida and her husband Vincent, Christopher Novak and his wife Lauren and 3 grandchildren Vincent, Noah, and Izzie, sisters Judith DiPietro and her husband Al and Theresa Cortese and her husband Ralph and many nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his brother, David Novak and was the beloved son-in-law of the late Robert and Simonna Welch.
The funeral will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 9:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, April 10th from 4pm – 8pm.
