Obituary for Stephen A. Tensfeldt
Stephen A. Tensfeldt, 68 of Belleville, passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2021. Born in Hackensack and raised in Cresskill, he was the son of the late William and Angela M. (Hanabergh) Tensfeldt. Stephen lived in Newark before coming to Belleville 17 years ago and was a carpenter with Carpenter’s Local 6 in Jersey City before retiring.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Helena Tensfeldt, his son Daniel and his step-children, Gisceli Stabinski, Jadson Chagas and Luana Sharpe. His grandchildren Jadson, Janell, Justice Chagas, Sean and Jailen Sharpe. His brothers, John, Thomas and Paul Tensfeldt and his sister, Ellen Adelson.
Services will be private.
