Susana Simonetty, 91, of Nutley, passed away on January 17, 2022. Born in Camaquey, Cuba, she lived in Newark prior to coming to Nutley 22 years ago. Susana was an International Senior Investigator for Chase Manhattan Bank, NY, NY. Susana was the daughter of the late Miquel and Sixta (Nunez) Alvarez. She was predeceased by her sister Martha M. Alverez, and is survived by her husband Jose Simonetty, her children Grisel Simonetty, Jose Simonetty, and his wife Eileen, and Edward J. Simonetty, and his wife Gladys, sister Caridad L. Tur, her Grandchildren, Jaclyn, Michael, Stephanie, Christopher and Allison, her great grandchildren Parker, JJ, and Hunter.
The funeral will be Friday, January 21, 2022, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9:00am.
A Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 155 William Street, Belleville at 10:00am.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 4-8pm.
