Sylvia G. Linfante, 66, of Garfield, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023. Although she recently resided in Garfield, she called Nutley her home for most of her life. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Arlene (Gehman) Pavelchak. She was a loving, devoted and selfless mother and grandma who was always a phone call away. She is survived by her daughters Larissa Boccher, Christina Macasieb and spouse Richard, Carla Sagvay and spouse Dennis, and Rosemarie Linfante & significant other Erik Cofino, sisters Gloria Testa, Patricia Pavelchak, and Dorothy Horne, and seven grandchildren Mikey, Izzy, Cassie, Mikayla, Kevin, Oliver, and Xander. Sylvia was immensely proud of her family and leaves nothing behind but beautiful memories.
