Obituary for Teresa Soldo (Curcione)
Teresa Soldo, 99, of Belleville passed away Wednesday Dec 21,
2022. Born in Newark NJ, Teresa was the daughter of the late Gerard and Carmela(Belverio) Curcione . She is a recent widow of James C Soldo to whom she was married almost 80 years. Teresa retired as a cosmetologist for Ester Lauder and Clinique for Macy’s in Newark. Her love of family was the most important aspect of her life. She and Jim enjoyed wonderful times with her three sisters and their husbands.
They often traveled together with multiple trips to Europe especially Italy.
Teresa always saw the best in people and had a radiant smile.
She is survived by her children Lucille Hunkele and her husband Frank(Rick); James Soldo and his wife Heidi; 4 grandchildren Frank Hunkele and his wife Dana, Marisa Bloom and her husband Eric, Brian Soldo and his wife Jill, Christine Brown and her husband Kyle; 7 great -grandchildren Sofia Bloom, Benjamin Bloom, Frankie Hunkele, Alexandra Hunkele, Madison Brown, Emily Brown, and Parker Brown.
She also leaves a sister, Anna Cocuzza of Florida, a sister-in-law, Rose Soldo of Belleville and a brother-in-law, Joe Soldo of California. She was a special aunt loved by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 3, 2022, at 11 AM at St Peter’s Church, Belleville. Everyone is kindly invited to meet directly at church.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, January 2nd from 1-4 pm
