Loving Daughter, Wife & Mother
Theresa M. Bani, 84 of Newark passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019. Born in Newark, the daughter of Angelo and Dora Del Mul, she was a lifelong resident of Newark. Theresa was a former Medical Assistant at Schering-Plough in Kenilworth, attended Lyons Institute in Newark; and she was also an active bowler who loved cooking and baking.
The beloved wife of the late Orlando Bani, she is survived by her sons, Anthony Bani and his wife Arlene, Robert Bani and his wife Debra, and Ronald Bani; her sisters Cecelia Berberich and Dolores Berardi.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville at 10 a.m.
The interment /entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association of NJ.
