Theresa Tricolla (nee Melito), 94 of Newark, passed away on July 2, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she came to Newark 91 years ago. Theresa was employed as an office clerk by Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company in Newark for twenty years, retiring in 1987.
She was predeceased by her parents, Philip & Maria Melito, her brother, Michael Melito, and her sister, Lucy Insalaco. She is survived by her dear sister, Lena Martinho and loving nephews and nieces, Philip Melito, Marie Melito, Philip Martinho, Laura Lehman, and Maria Rizzitello, and many great nephews and nieces.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Saturday July 6 at 9 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark at 10 am followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 pm.
