Therese M. Lapierre, 91 of Nutley, passed away Saturday June 27,2020. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Juliette (Lapierre) Valade. She came to the United States settling in Nutley 1957. Therese was a nurse’s aide at St. Joseph’s Medical Center until retiring. Therese was predeceased by her beloved husband René She is survived by her daughter Johanne Meola, brothers Henri and John Paul Valade, sisters Claudette Bayard and Rita Trepanier, and grandchildren Matthew Meola and his wife Stephanie and Nicole Tritto and her husband Michael and great grandchild Daniel Tritto.
