Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather
Thomas E. Isenburg, 82 of Nutley passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Born in Newark, the son of Anthony and Elsie (Freiburger) Isenburg, he lived in Newark prior to moving to Nutley 51 years ago.
He retired from PSE&G in Newark as a Control Staff Specialist. He also enjoyed spending time at the shore.
The beloved husband of he late Marie Louise “Mary Lou” (DeFilippis) Isenburg, he is survived by his daughters, Lorraine Wesdyk and her husband, Russell, Maria Isenburg, Lisa Russo and her husband, Edward and Michelle Vieira and her husband, Anthony and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Sarah, Samantha, Madison, Alexandra and Arlin. He also leaves a sister, Joan Faraone and her husband, John; a sister-in-law, Olga Thun; a brother-in-law, Joe Miller and many loving nieces and nephews. Along with his parents and his wife, Thomas was also predeceased by 6 sisters, Catherine Isenburg, Doris Poramba, Marion Hubba, Ruth Weaver, Lorraine Isenburg and Arlene Poramba and 2 brothers, Joseph and Robert.
The funeral will be Monday, January 20, 2020 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The cremation and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
