Former Hoffmann La Roche Employee
Thomas J. Lewis, 81 of Nutley passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Born in Nanticoke, PA, the son of Ruben and Jeanette Lewis he has lived in Nutley for most of his life.
He retired from Hoffmann La Roche in Nutley as a chemical operator. He was a member of the Roche Retirees, the Roche Bowling and men’s softball league, a member of the Nutley Baseball & Football Hall of Fame and an Army Veteran.
Thomas is survived by many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Ruben, Robert and Allen.
The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
