Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather
Thomas J. Morel passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Lydia Mary Cote’ & Thomas Joseph Morel, he was a lifelong resident of Belleville. Prior to his retirement, Thomas was a truck driver with Comet Delivery Service. He served in the New Jersey National Guard; he was a member of the Old Guard of Nutley, an avid N.Y. Mets fan and an accomplished bowler.
The beloved husband of the late Edna Mae (Hunkele) Morel he is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Ogin & her husband Keith and Cynthia Place & her husband, Robert; his granddaughter, Caroline Ogin and his sister, Marie Louis Milazzo.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The Old Guard of Nutley Service will be held at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be preferred.
