Obituary for Thomas W. Roach
Thomas W. Roach, 66 of Fort Pierce, FL and formerly of Nutley, passed away on Monday May 24, 2021. Born in East Orange, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Jewell (Vetter) Roach. A graduate of Nutley High School (1972), Tom lived in Nutley most of his life before moving to Florida in 1992. Tom was a loving father, grandfather, mentor and friend.
Predeceased by his daughter, Erin Elizabeth Roach, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Tara Lynne Olsen and Justin; his godmother, Amelia Estenes O’Dell, who helped to raise him as her own; his four grandchildren, Xavier Deida, Cassidy Fredo, Ethan & Piper Olsen; and many more family and friends.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Sunday, June 13th at 2-4pm. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday June 14th at 11am, followed by committal at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
