Thomas Tarantino, 89, lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on March 28, 2022. He was the son of the late Thomas and Marie (Turella) Tarantino. Thomas leaves behind his loving wife Marilyn (Field), his sons Thomas P., Stephen A., and David Tarantino, and his sister Esther Ruffo. He was predeceased by his son Robert J. and his sister Rachel Cernero. Thomas retired as an operating engineer with local 825 Springfield, was a veteran of the US Navy, serving on the heavy cruiser USC Macon (CA-132) and submarine tender USS Fulton (AS-11), serving in the Korean War.

The funeral will be Saturday 9am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley. A service will be celebrated at 10am.

The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, April 1 from 4-8pm.
