Thomasina Theresa Amorosi, 66, of Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. Born in Newark, NJ, Thomasina was the daughter of Bernadine (Hamersley) and the late Joseph Amorosi. She worked as a patient claims representative for Delta Dental Insurance Company. Thomasina was active in Breast Cancer work and helped raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was a key person in the success of Amorosi Martial Arts for more than 30 years, was a teacher at St. Rose of Lima Pre-School and was President EH PTA. She is survived by her mother Bernadine Amorosi, sons Joseph Pakasinski and Micheal Pakasinski, brother James Amorosi, her 2 grandchildren Charley and Penny and nephews Nicolas Amorosi Jr., and James Amorosi Jr, and family and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Nicolas Amorosi.
Cremation was held privately.
Funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10am at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 7th Avenue, Newark, NJ.
