Obituary for Valerie Ninivaggi
Loving Mother, and sister
Valerie I Ninivaggi, 69, of Stanhope, NJ, passed way on June 3, 2022. Born East Orange, Valerie was the daughter of the late Walter Edwin and Gladys Ellen (Young) Moore, Jr.of Nutley.
She was the first woman lineman before becoming a troubleshooter for NJ Bell/ Verizon Phone Company in Nutley, NJ. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary VFW Post 493 in Nutley, as well as being a member of VFW post in Netcong, NJ
She loved traveling the country by motorcycle with her long time boyfriend Jim Werner.
Was also an avid Devils fan including having season tickets with her daughter during the glory years. Loved animals, and was a long time quilter, belonging to the Nutley Quilting club.
She leaves behind her daughter Tracey Ninivaggi, her sister Carol McGonigle, and three nephews, Joe, Kevin, Brian.
Memorial Visiting will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Friday June 10, 2022, from 5-8pm.
Cremation will be private.
