Valerie M. Stile, 96, of Nutley, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Valerie was the daughter of the late Valerio and Teresa (Mortola) Maggiolo. She attended a boarding high school in Quebec, Canada and held an associate degree from Brooklyn College. She retired as a Manager for Employee Services for W R Grace & Co. in NY, NY. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society and was active in Nutley Parks and Recreation activities. The beloved wife of the late Thomas Stile, Valerie is survived by her children James Stile and his wife Joanne (deceased), Barbara Stile Smith and her husband Frank Smith, and Christine Stile Mazzeo and her husband James Mazzeo, 6 grandchildren Justin Stile and his wife Nina, Blair Smith and her wife Alana, Andrew Smith and his fiancée Anya, Jeffrey Mazzeo, Thomas Mazzeo and his wife Stephanie, and Lauren Mazzeo and her husband Michael Sommo, and 2 great-grandchildren Dominic and Joseph Stile.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 28, 2023, at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave, Bloomfield.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, April 27th from 4 – 8pm.
