Virginia J. Galop, 85, lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Nutley, NJ, Virginia was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Albanese) Christopher. She retired as a clerical worker for AC Moore in Clifton. Predeceased by her beloved husband Edmund Galop, daughter Marie Yesulitis, and granddaughter Tara Anne Grilo, Virginia is survived by her daughter Donna Grilo and her husband Manuel, sister Antoinette (Netta) Serio, 5 grandchildren Matthew Grilo, Alana Grilo, Christina Yesulitis, Juliana Metzner, and Alex Yesulitis, and great-grandson Clark.
Visitors will be received from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley, on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 4 – 7pm. There will be a funeral service conducted at 6:30pm.
Cremation will be private.
