Vittorio “Victor” Pallante, 48 of Basking Ridge passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Born in Belleville, he grew up in Bloomfield before moving to Basking Ridge 10 years ago. He was known for his cooking skills and was a phenomenal chef. He was very active in his church community and devotee to Saint Gerard.
Victor is survived by his father Gerardo Pallante and his wife Assunta and his mother Livia Linarducci and her husband Jose, sister Annamaria Pallante and companion Gerald Kulesa and Daniela Iatesta and her husband Matt, his nephew Matthew Iatesta, his niece and goddaughter Ella Iatesta and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be Thursday, August 29, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 8:45 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church in Newark at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to National Shrine of St. Gerard, in care of by Saint Lucy’s Church, 118 7th Ave, Newark, NJ 07104.
