Wanda J. Kucinski
August 16, 1932- August 13, 2022

Wanda Kucinski, 89, of Clifton, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. Wanda was born in Passaic and raised in Nutley. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Kucinski and Janet (Stanowicz) (Kucinski) Stolz. A Nutley High School graduate, she later moved to Clifton where she currently resided.

Wanda worked at Aircraft Supplies in Nutley (the site of the Nutley Parks & Recreation Building) during the 1950’s and 1960’s. She later became the office manager at WS Kirkpatrick in Fairfield, NJ during the 1970’s and 1980’s; retiring from Sanyo in the late 1990’s. She loved drawing and painting and is an accomplished artist of watercolors. She created numerous paintings and pieces of stained glass which she gave as gifts to many friends and family. She loved cooking, camping and traveled to many places in the world, her favorite being Bermuda. Wanda was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church during her childhood and spent a good deal of her adult spiritual life at Fairfield Reformed Church in Fairfield, NJ. She belonged to the Clifton Art Gallery, the Clifton Art Society, The Woman’s Club of Upper Montclair, and The NJ Watercolor Society.

Wanda was predeceased by her brother Eugene Jr. and his wife Doris Kucinski, and her nephew, Eugene Kucinski III and her 1st cousins Raymond Simmons, Dorothy (Simmons) Villa and Martin Simmons. She is survived by her brother Anthony Stolz and his wife Diane of Kansas City, MO., their children Thomas A. Stolz and his wife Kelly, Sacramento, CA, and Elizabeth A. Stolz, Denver, CO; her niece Nancy Kucinski (wife to Eugene III) and their children Andrew, Casey and Kellie (Kucinski) and her husband Michael Warshany and Wanda’s 1st cousins Theodore Kucinsky and his wife Martha formerly of Nutley, now Vero Beach, Fl.; Charles Kucinski and his wife Lorraine of Nutley, NJ; Martha (Kucinski) Kyzima formerly of Nutley, now Mt. Upton, NY; and, Rosemarie Simmons formerly of Nutley, now Clifton, NJ; and many loving cousins, neighbors and friends.

Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Center St., Nutley on Thursday, August 18 at 9:30 a.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 120 Prospect St., Nutley at 10:30 am followed by interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 17, 4-8 p.m.
