Edward C. Hassan, passed away on Saturday September 8, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Bernard and Mary (Hacker) Hassan, Ned was a lifelong resident of Newark.
Ned was an accomplished writer and musician, having mastered the guitar and bass guitar. He was a lover of animals and people and enjoyed the ocean just as much as the desert. Quick witted, he was always the center of attention and his stories would never disappoint.
Ned is survived by his sister, Mary Hassan; his 2 brothers, Bernard Hassan, Jr. and Ronald Hassan; his niece, Christine; his nephews, George Jr., his wife, Julie and their children, Aidan and Gavan and Keith, his wife, Lauren and their children, Caitlin and Patrick G.
He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret and a brother, George.
All services were private.
