Devoted wife, Loving mother & grandmother
Evelyn M. Scioscia, 97 of Nutley, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018. Born and raised in Newark, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (LePore) Salerno. Mrs. Scioscia moved to Nutley in 1960 and was wirer with Gordos Corp. in Bloomfield before retiring in 1983. Evelyn was also a member of the Nutley Chapter of AARP and the Nutley Seniors Service Club. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick E. Scioscia and is survived by her devoted sons, Mark and Donald Scioscia and 4 loving grandchildren.
The funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. in Nutley on Saturday September 1 at 8:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3-7 pm.
