Korean War Veteran
Louis Faraone Jr., of Edison, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of Luigi and Antoinette (D’Elia) Faraone, he lived in Belleville for over 60 years prior to moving to Edison. Prior to his retirement, he was the manager of sales for ShopRite in Clark. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
The beloved husband of the late Yolanda (Polo) Faraone, he is survived by his sisters, Florence J. Faraone, Rosemary Snow and Alice Chirichella; his brother, John and many loving nieces and nephews. Louis was also predeceased by 2 sisters, Josephine Ciampi and Antoinette Barbella and 3 brothers, Carmen, Pasquale and Alfred.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 11 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley prior to the Funeral Mass from 9-11 a.m.
