World War II Veteran
Angelo J. Ippolito, a lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He retired as a machinist from General Motors Corp., formerly Hyatt Roller Bearing in Clark. Angelo was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a former member of the Italian Fiorente Club in Belleville.
The beloved son of the late Angelo & Maria (Broccoli) Ippolito, he is survived by his life companion, Dorothy Vecchi and her family, Patricia Dyer and her children, Adrienne McKimmey & her husband, Kyle and Shannon Kraemer & her husband Daryl; a sister, Christine Stein and many loving nieces & nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Rose Vaccaro and four brothers, Angelo Scaglione and Joseph “Abe”, Salvatore “Zabs” & Frederick “Bucky” Ippolito.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment of his cremains at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home, 1 Veterans Way, Paramus, NJ 07652 would be preferred.
