Obituary for Anthony D. Ferrato
Air Force veteran, Retired travel agent
Anthony D. Ferrato of Toms River, passed away on Thursday April 20, 2017. Born and raised in Nutley, he was the son of the late Louis and Anna (Petrella) Ferrato and lived in Totowa before coming to Toms River 2 years ago. Mr. Ferrato was a travel agent and owner of Leisure Worlds Travel in Nutley for 46 years before retiring. He was also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. Anthony is survived by his sister, Carole Keary. He was the dear uncle of Deanna Schoonhoven and her husband, T.J., great uncle of Taylor and Mackenzie, and nephew of Mary Vogt and Madeline “Honey” Luty. He also leaves his godchildren, Denise Perrotta and Salvatore Urso and many cousins.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday April 24 at 8:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 pm.
