Obituary for Carmella M. Bostory

Librarian Assistant
Carmella M. Bostory, of Belleville, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Nicholas & Bernetta (Romanello) Mazzola, she lived in Nutley prior to moving to Belleville 51 years ago. Before her retirement, Carmella was a librarian assistant with the Belleville Public Library. Previously she worked as an inspector for Westinghouse in Bloomfield. She was also a member of the Belleville Senior Citizens Wednesday Club.
The beloved wife of the late Peter Bostory, she is survived by her children, Valerie and George Bostory and her sister Christina LePree. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Nicholas & Louis Mazzola.
There was a memorial service held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
The interment at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield was private.
Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
