A True Animal Lover & Activist
Carol A. Gorski, 82, of Nutley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Antonio & Lucille (Bogotka) Nunes, she lived in Kearny prior to moving to Nutley 8 years ago. She retired from the New Jersey Candy Company in Newark as a Bookkeeper.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, John T. Gorski; her two daughters, Cynthia Zoon & her husband, William and Lynn McMahon & her husband, John; her grandchildren, Holli & Veronica Zoon and her canine companions, Patches, Verdell & Danny.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 267 Centre Street in Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:45 a.m.
The cremation services will be private.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Death with Dignity or PETA would be preferred.
